The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way, 6-inch valve specially designed to provide control for heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. It showcases a maximum flow rate of 605 Cv at a 60-degree stroke, and 1579 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The valve features a lugged connection and is built with an epoxy powder-coated ductile iron body that meets the ASTM A536 standard.

A distinctive feature of the valve is its direct-coupled actuator with a torque threshold of 1400 in-lb. Maintaining floating/two-position SPDT functionality, it can operate within a voltage range of 24-240 VAC and 24-125 VDC. The valve also includes an electronic fail-safe system for added confidence during operation.

This valve serves chilled water, hot water, cooling tower water, and thermal storage systems with its modified equal percentage flow characteristic. It remains effective and operational under a wide temperature range, from -22 F to 250 F (-30 C to 121 C), and withstands a close-off pressure of up to 200 psi. Energy efficient, the valve has a power consumption of just 20 VA.

The housing of the valve complies with NEMA 4X standards, complete with a heater, ensuring robust performance in demanding environments. To help monitor or control other devices in your system, the valve is also equipped with two additional SPDT switches.
