The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way system, featuring dimensions of 6 inches, within its diverse range of sizes from 2 to 20 inches that come with ANSI Class 125/150 Lug Pipe Connections. With a flanged structure, the valve provides a Cv of 567 at a 60-degree stroke and an elevated Cv of 1850 at a 90-degree stroke. The valve's body is made of polyester-coated cast iron which not only ensures longevity against external factors such as weather, chemical and ultraviolet interaction, abrasion, and impact but also aids in providing bidirectional flow. The peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat provides enhanced sealing, ensuring bubble-tight leakage at rated close-off.

The valve also features an extended neck that can accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation. The disks are coated with Nylon 11, a property that supports corrosion resistance, reduces friction, and enables the application of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. The robust 416 stainless steel stem provides a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection without any entry points for corrosion.

The technical specifications of the valve allow for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions service, with a flow characteristic of equal percentage. Designed to operate efficiently between -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), the valve can handle a close-off pressure of up to 175 psi.
