The Honeywell Butterfly Valve, 2-way, 6-inch, features a flanged design with a, 567 Cv at 60-degree stroke and 1850 Cv at 90-degree stroke. Constructed with a polyester-coated cast iron body for enhanced durability, the valve also incorporates a peroxide cured EPDM resilient seat and a 416 stainless steel stem.

This valve is available in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, equipped ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Its bi-directional flow functionality adds to the versatility of the design. With an extended neck facilitating 2 inches of pipe insulation, it optimizes thermal efficiency.

To ensure utmost resistance against corrosion and reduced friction, the valve features a nylon 11 coated, cast iron disk. This also enables the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. For additional protection against environmental factors such as weather, chemicals, ultraviolet radiation, abrasion, and impact, the cast iron valve body is coated with polyester.

Maintaining the high-standard quality, the valve has a stainless steel stem with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection and no points for corrosion access. It ensures a bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off.

Appropriately suited for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, the valve display an equal percentage flow characteristic. With an operating temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F (-40 degrees C to 121 degrees C), it can deal with extreme conditions. The valve can perform efficiently even at a close-off pressure of 175 psi.
