Honeywell presents a professional-grade Butterfly Valve with a 2-way, 6-inch design. This control valve boasts a flanged design, promising a Cv rating of 567 at a 60-degree stroke and a Cv rating of 1850 at a 90-degree stroke. The meticulously engineered valve body is composed of polyester-coated cast iron, ensuring both durability and resilience in industrial environments. The valve seat utilizes peroxide-cured EPDM, complemented by a stem of 416 stainless steel for optimal performance and longevity.

Supporting sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, this butterfly valve ensures ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It is designed to accommodate bi-directional flow and features an extended neck to cater for 2 inches of pipe insulation. For added corrosion resistance and reduced friction, the valve disks are made from Nylon 11 coated cast iron, which also enables the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

The valve body's polyester coating offers an extra layer of protection against weather, chemicals, ultraviolet radiation, abrasion and impact. The valve's stainless-steel stem has a perfectly-fitting internal double-D disk connection, giving no point of entry for corrosion. It assures bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off.

This Honeywell Butterfly Valve is ideal for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, and it maintains an equal percentage flow characteristic. It operates optimally within a temperature range of -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C) and sustains a close-off pressure of 175 psi.
