The body of the valve is made from robust cast-iron, coated with polyester that enhances its durability amidst volatile weather conditions, chemicals, ultra-violet rays, abrasion and potential impacts.

The valve also features a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and a durable 416 stainless steel stem, which reduces the amount of corrosion that could affect the double-D disk connection-- ensuring long-term use.
