The Honeywell Butterfly Valve, 2 Way, 6 in., is a flanged model featuring a resilience of 567 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and 1850 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. Its construction includes a polyester-coated cast iron body, a peroxide cured EPDM resilient seat, and a sturdy 416 stainless steel stem. The valve ranges in size from 2 in. to 20 in., all with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections, which contributes to its bidirectional flow capability.

It features an extended neck designed to accommodate 2 in. of pipe insulation. The cast iron disks are coated with Nylon 11 for corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and allow the utilization of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. The valve body is constructed of cast iron and further coated with polyester, which guards it against weather, chemical, ultra-violet, abrasion, and impact damage.

In addition, the valve is complete with a stainless steel stem that has a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, specifically designed with no points for corrosion access. Further assuring its reliable function, it can achieve bubble-tight seat leakage at rated close-off.

Applicable services for this valve include hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It has an equal percentage flow characteristic and can operate smoothly at temperatures ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). This valve can withstand a close-off pressure of 175 psi.
