The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way, 5-inch control device. The item features a polyester-coated, cast iron body that enhances its resilience against weather, chemical reactions, UV damage, abrasion, and impact. At a 60-degree stroke, it boasts a 428 Cv and at a 90-degree stroke, a 1376 Cv. The valve is fitted with a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat that ensures tightness and durability under high pressure. The stem, made from 416 stainless steel, incorporates a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection which prevents corrosion access points.

The product accommodates sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Unique attributes include a bi-directional flow capacity and an extended neck that provides room for two inches of pipe insulation. This valve further impresses with its nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks that offer corrosion resistance and increased efficiency due to reduced friction. This attribute significantly enables the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. One key functionality is the bubble tight seat leakage at its rated close-off pressure.

It is ideal for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, with an equal percentage flow characteristic. The operating temperature ranges from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C) and it can withstand a close-off pressure of up to 175 psi.
