The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way, 5-inch flanged solution that offers 428 Cv at a stroke of 60 degrees and 1376 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The valve is composed of a polyester-coated cast iron body that provides weathering, chemical, UV, abrasion, and impact resistance. The resilient seat is crafted from peroxide-cured EPDM while the stem is engineered from 416 stainless steel, ensuring a lasting and dependable mechanism.
The valve is designed to fit sizes from 2 to 20 inches and is equipped with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections for industrial versatility. To aid in utility and ease of installation, the valve features bi-directional flow along with an extended neck to accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation. For resistance against corrosion and reduced friction, this valve boasts of nylon 11-coated, cast iron disks. These disks allow for the utilization of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.
The valve's stem, constructed from stainless steel, has a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection that does not offer any points for corrosion access. The valve promises bubble-tight seat leakage at rate close-off.
This ButterFly Valve is able to provide equal percentage flow characteristics. It is designed to service both hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, and can operate at temperatures ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), with a close-off pressure of 175 psi. With its unique combination of robust construction and advanced features, this valve delivers efficient control for your industrial automation needs.
