The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way system featuring a 5-inch width. This valve is designed with a flanged 428 Cv at a 60-degree stroke, and a 1376 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The body of the valve is crafted from a polyester-coated cast iron, ensuring durability and long-lasting use. The valve also features a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and a 416 stainless steel stem.

The valve is available in various sizes, from 2 to 20 inches, with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of industrial settings. Key to its function is bi-directional flow and an extended neck for 2-inch pipe insulation.

To ensure corrosion resistance, the disks of this valve are made of Nylon 11 coated, cast iron. This material composition contributes to reduced friction and allows for the use of lower torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. Substantially, the valve body is polyester-coated, ensuring protection against weather, chemical exposure, ultraviolet rays, abrasion, and impact.

In terms of engineering, the stainless steel valve stem employs a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, designed to prevent any points of corrosion access. This valve also provides bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off for optimal performance.

Technical service specifications include the suitable use for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. The flow characteristic is set at an equal percentage while the operating temperature ranges from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). This valve is capable of operating under a close-off pressure of up to 175 psi.
