The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way, 5-inch valve equipped with an ANSI Class 125/150 Lug Pipe connection, capable of performing with different sizes of valve, ranging from 2 to 20 inches. The valve feature a bi-directional flow system and an extended neck designed to accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation. This valve is designed to be highly resistant and durable, with a cast iron disk coated in Nylon 11. This coating ensures corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and employment of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. The valve body is made from polyester coated cast iron, safeguarding against external factors such as weather conditions, chemical reactions, ultra-violet radiation, abrasion, and impact.

The stainless-steel valve stem comes with close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, with the precise design leaving no points for corrosion access. Moreover, the peroxide cured EPDM resilient seat guarantees bubble-tight seat leakage at rated close-off. In terms of technical specifications, the Honeywell Butterfly Valve is suitable for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, with an equal percentage flow characteristic. The operating temperature ranges from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C) and the valve can withstand a pressure of up to 175 psi for close-off. The valve stems have a high Cv of 428 at a 60-degree stroke, denoting great efficiency in the fluid flow.
