The Honeywell Butterfly Valve, featuring a 2-way mechanism, is anchored by a 5-inch flanged, polyester-coated cast iron body. It showcases the remarkable Cv of 428 at a 60-degree stroke and an impressive 1376 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The resilience of this unit lies in its peroxide-cured EPDM seat and tough 416 stainless steel stem.

The Butterfly Valve is adaptable with available sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, and is compatible with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Designed for versatility, it facilitates bi-directional flow and includes an extended neck for 2 inches of pipe insulation.

Outstanding for durability and longevity, the valve's disk is nylon 11 coated and made from cast iron. This protection performs double duty by providing both corrosion resistance and a reduced friction interface, allowing use of lower-torque actuators with larger valves body sizes. The same cast iron valve body is coated in polyester for protection against weather, chemicals, ultra-violet rays, abrasion, and impact.

The unit has a stainless steel valve stem with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection leaving no points for corrosion access. It guarantees bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off.

As for its technical specificities, the Butterfly Valve is suitable for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It operates with an equal percentage flow characteristic and sustains temperatures from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). The valve maintains a close-off pressure of 175 psi.
