The body of the valve is cast from iron and features a protective polyester coating, safeguarding the unit from corrosion and facilitating its ability to weather a range of environmental conditions.

To ensure endurance and improved functionality, the resilient seat is crafted from peroxide-cured EPDM, and the stem is manufactured from 416-grade stainless steel. Accommodating sizes from 2 to 20 inches, this valve offers ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections and the advantage of bi-directional flow. The design also includes an extended neck that caters to 2 inches of pipe insulation.

The valve's disks are engineered from corrosion-resistant cast iron, encapsulated with a Nylon 11 coating, which also diminishes friction. This unique feature allows for efficient utilization of lower-torque actuators in tandem with larger valve body sizes. The valve body is polyester-coated, offering protection against weather, chemical action, ultra-violet rays, abrasion, and impact.
