Honeywell offers a 5-inch, 2-way butterfly valve designed for efficient operation and long service life. Featured with a flanged layout, its robust performance is ensured with a Cv rating of 428 at a 60-degree stroke. The valve's body is crafted from resiliently seated, polyester-coated cast iron, ensuring durability against damage from weather, chemicals, ultraviolet light, abrasion, and impact. Enhanced with a resilient seat made from peroxide cured EPDM, the valve ensures bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off.

Alongside this, it's incorporated with a 416 stainless steel stem designed with close-tolerance and a double-D disk connection internally to prevent corrosion access points. The valve is available in various sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It guarantees a bi-directional flow and comes with an extended neck to accommodate up to 2 inches of pipe insulation.

One of the highlights of this valve is its cast iron disks, coated with Nylon 11 to enhance corrosion resistance, reduce friction, and enable the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. Matched to operate within a temperature range of -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), it can perform its service with both heated and chilled water-glycol solutions. Having an equal percentage as its flow characteristic, it ensures efficient fluid handling even under a close-off pressure of 175 psi.
