The Butterfly Valve, 2 Way, 4 inch is a flanged valve featuring a 274 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and a spectacular 841 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. With an exterior built from polyester-coated cast iron, this model provides resilience against weather, abrasion, impact, ultraviolet damage, and corrosive chemicals. The valve's interior employs a peroxide-cured EPDM for a resilient seat and the stem is constructed with 416 stainless steel for added durability.
Suitable for piping systems with ANSI class 125/150 lug connections, this valve can fit pipe sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches. It also showcases unique bi-directional flow characteristics. An extended neck allows for two inches of pipe insulation.
Nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks are designed for optimal corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and the application of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. This ensures the valve is bubble-tight at its rated close-off and does not grant the corrosion direct access.
Designed to provide service for both hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, the valve proves to be exceptionally versatile. Follows an equal percentage flow characteristic. The operating temperatures range from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C) and the valve offers a close-off pressure of 175 psi.
