The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2 Way, 4-inch valve engineered for maximum performance and durability. It features a flanged design, with Cv rates of 274 at a 60-degree stroke and 841 at a 90-degree stroke. The robust construction includes a polyester-coated cast iron body for enhanced protection against weather, chemical damage, ultra-violet light, abrasion, and impact. The resilient seat, made from peroxide-cured EPDM, is complemented by a 416 stainless steel stem.
Providing versatility in application, this valve offers sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches all with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It's designed with a bi-directional flow capability and an extended neck that allows for 2 inches of pipe insulation. For superior corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and usage with low-torque actuators, the valve disks are cast iron and coated with Nylon 11.
Adding to its sturdy design, it features a stainless steel valve stem with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection. This design excludes points for corrosion access, promoting the product's longevity. Importantly, the valve ensures bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off.
In terms of service, it works with both hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It boasts an equal percentage flow characteristic and an operating temperature range of -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). Notably, it can handle a close-off pressure of up to 175 psi. By integrating advanced features and robust materials, the Honeywell Butterfly Valve, 2 Way, 4 in, delivers on performance and resilience in diverse industrial settings.
