The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way valve with a diameter of 3 inches. As a key component in fluid control, it has a flanged design with a Cv of 154 at a 60-degree stroke and 461 at a 90-degree stroke. Built to last, the valve has a polyester-coated cast iron body and a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat, complemented by a 416 stainless steel stem.

The valve comes in varying sizes, ranging from 2 to 20 inches, equipped with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It enables bi-directional flow and features an extended neck designed to accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation. For increased durability and smooth operation, the valve's disks are coated with Nylon 11, reducing friction and allowing the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

Coated with polyester, the cast iron valve body ensures resistance against weather, chemical interactions, ultraviolet rays, abrasion, and impacts. The stainless steel valve stem comes with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, preventing any points of corrosion access. The tight seating of the valve ensures bubble leakage at its rated close-off.

This Butterfly Valve is engineered for dependable service in systems using hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It offers an equal percentage flow characteristic, performing efficiently under operating temperatures ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). It can withstand a close-off pressure of up to 175 psi, making it a robust and reliable component for diverse control system applications.
