The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way device with a diameter of 3 inches. It features a firmly constructed body made from polyester coated cast iron, designed to withstand chemical, ultraviolet, abrasion, and impact damage, making it robust and highly durable. This flanged valve offers 154 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and an impressive 461 Cv at a 90-degree stroke.

For the valve's internal workings, an EPDM resilient seat, cured with peroxide, has been provided. Additionally, the valve stem is made from high-quality 416 stainless steel, ensuring excellent durability and longevity. It delivers bi-directional flow and comes with an extended neck that can accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation to minimize heat loss.

Added features include cast iron disks that are coated with Nylon 11, significantly reducing friction and enhancing corrosion resistance, enabling the use of lower-torque actuators in larger valve body sizes. Honeywell has designed this valve to offer excellent sealing properties with bubble tight seat leakage at rated close-off for increased efficiency.

The Butterfly Valve is suitable for a range of service conditions, including hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, and operates smoothly even under harsh temperature conditions, ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). Offering an equal percentage flow characteristic, it functions proficiently under a close-off pressure of 175 psi. It includes ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections and comes in sizes from 2 to 20 inches to suit a variety of industrial applications.
