The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a robust 2-way, 3-inch control mechanism, designed with an extended neck that allows for 2 inches of pipe insulation. Its capabilities include a Cv of 154 at a 60-degree stroke and a Cv of 461 at a 90-degree stroke. Manufactured with a polyester-coated cast-iron body, it is constructed to offer high resistance to abrasion, chemical exposure, ultraviolet light, and extreme weather conditions.

This valve features a resilient seat made of peroxide-cured EPDM which, alongside the 416 stainless steel stem, enhances its durability. It utilizes a stainless steel valve stem with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, eliminating points for potential corrosion access.

In addition to the standard 3-inch model, the valve is available in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Its bi-directional flow capacities and high-rated close-off pressure of 175 psi are complemented by a flow characteristic of equal percentage.

Engineered with cast iron disks coated in durable Nylon 11, the butterfly valve offers amplified corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and compatibility with lower-torque actuators, making it suitable for larger valve body sizes. It is designed to provide service for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, within operating temperatures of -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). This valve guarantees bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off, delivering outstanding performance and reliability.
