The Honeywell Butterfly Valve features a functional two-way design with a diameter of 3 inches. Characterized by its flanged nature, the valve boasts a 154 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and shoots up to a 461 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. It is reinforced with a polyester coated cast iron body to ensure protection from high temperatures.

For enhanced durability and performance, the valve is provided with a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat, complemented by a 416 stainless steel stem for added sturdiness. Sizes available range from 2 to 20 inches, accompanied by ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. This wide range allows for bi-directional flow, with an extended neck available to accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation for reduced heat loss.

The Butterfly valve is fitted with Nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks, specifically designed for corrosion resistance. This allows use of lower-torque actuators with larger valves and ensures reduced frictional losses. The valve body is also coated with polyester, which protects it against harsh weather, impacting forces, abrasive conditions, chemical corrosion, and ultraviolet radiation damage.

The valve stem, made of stainless steel, is paired with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, designed to prevent any points of access for corrosion. The valve also offers bubble-tight seat leakage at rated close-off for optimum performance.

As for its technical specifications, the valve can be utilized for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, demonstrating an equal percentage of flow characteristic. It can operate between -40 F to 250 F (-40 C To 121 C), with a close-off pressure of 175 psi. This broad operational temperature range and the high close-off pressure make it an ideal choice for a range of industrial applications.
