This 20 inch Honeywell butterfly valve features a highly durable, polyester-coated cast iron body and a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat, offering greater longevity and performance under even the most challenging conditions. The valve demonstrates Cv values of 7144 at a 60-degree stroke and 22339 at a 90-degree stroke.

Technical Specifications: The butterfly valve accommodates pipe sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, with ANSI class 125/150 lug pipe connections, and offers bi-directional flow. To facilitate pipe insulation, an extended neck is included, providing an extra 2 inches. The valve disks, fashioned from corrosion-resistant cast iron, are coated with Nylon 11, reducing friction and enabling the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valves body sizes.

For optimal weather, chemical, ultra-violet, abrasion, and impact protection, the valve body is coated with durable cast iron polyester. The Honeywell butterfly valve also features a stainless steel valve stem with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection which eliminates points of corrosion access. The valve offers bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off pressure.

In terms of service, this butterfly valve is suitable for both hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. The flow is equal percentage and the valve can operate within a temperature range from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), with a close-off pressure of 150 psi.
