The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a versatile, two-way control valve boasting a diameter of 20 inches. Designed primarily with flange connections, the valve is capable of attaining 7144 Cv at a 60-degree stroke, and 22339 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The valve is built with a polyester-coated cast iron body that provides rigid protection against weathering, chemical interaction, ultra-violet exposure, abrasion, and impacts.

An essential feature is its peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat, coupled with a 416 stainless steel stem. This valve is perfectly suitable for a range of sizes, from 2 to 20 inches and is fitted with ANSI class 125/150 lug pipe connections. This valve also facilitates a bi-directional flow with an extended neck designed to accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation.

The Honeywell Butterfly Valve thrives on less corrosive conditions, thanks to its nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks. This unique feature not only results in corrosion resistance but also decreased friction and the employment of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. Moreover, the stainless steel valve stem has a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection that eliminates points for corrosion access. In addition, the valve also showcases bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off.

In terms of service, the valve is suitable for both hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. Its equal percentage flow characteristic and operating temperature ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C) makes it suitable for a variety of industries. Lastly, this powerful and efficient valve boasts a close-off pressure of 150 psi.
