The Honeywell Butterfly Valve, 2-way, 20 inch, is a flanged valve with exceptional functionality, featuring a Cv of 7144 at a 60-degree stroke and 22339 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. This valve delivers bidirectional flow, further extending its versatility. Its body, crafted from polyester-coated cast iron, is designed to withstand rigorous operating conditions as it is engineered to provide protection against weather, chemical, ultraviolet, abrasion, and impact exposure, ensuring its durabililty. An extended neck feature allows for easy accommodation of 2 inches of pipe insulation.
The valve seats are formulated from peroxide-cured EPDM, known for their resilience, complemented by a a high-grade, 416 stainless steel stem. The cast iron disks, coated with hard-wearing Nylon 11, secure corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and the ability to utilize lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. To guarantee a flawless connection, the valve stem is equipped with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk and there are no contact points for corrosion access. It features bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off.
This top-tier valve is suited for a range of services, including hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, and exhibits an equal percentage flow characteristic. It operates efficiently across a wide temperature range, from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), and can safely handle a close-off pressure of up to 150 psi. The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is available in sizes from 2 to 20 inches, compatible with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections.
