Honeywell presents a two-way Butterfly Valve featuring a 20-inch dimension. The valve is flanged and showcases 7144 Cv at a 60-degree stroke, and 22339 Cv at the full 90-degree stroke. The body of the valve is constructed from a durable cast iron coated in polyester, ensuring resistance to weather, chemical damage, ultra-violet radiation, abrasions, and impacts. It also includes a peroxide cured EPDM resilient seat for added durability and service longevity.
This Butterfly Valve also boasts a 416 stainless steel stem combined with a nylon 11 coated, cast-iron disk. This unique combination results in exceptional corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and facilitates the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.
Designed for bi-directional flow, the valve also features an extended neck that allows for 2 inches of pipe insulation. Sizes range from 2 to 20 inches and include ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections for versatility and ease of use. The valve exhibits bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off, contributing to the overall efficiency and leak-proof operation.
This valve is designed to service hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, exhibiting equal percentage flow characteristics. It operates reliably in environmental temperatures ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), maintaining a close-off pressure of up to 150 psi. With a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, the valve prevents any points of corrosion access, ensuing high operational reliability.
