This Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a high-function, two-way valve with a size of 2-1/2 inches, suited to ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It operates bi-directionally offering flexibility for system configurations. An extended neck design allows for incorporation of 2 inches of pipe insulation.

Its technical attributes include a flanged design, a flow characteristic of 107 Cv at a 60-degree stroke, increasing to 282 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The main valve body, constructed from polyester-coated cast iron, offers significant resistance to weather conditions, chemical reactions, UV exposure, abrasion, and impact.

Concealed within the valve, the stem is fashioned from 416 stainless steel for longevity, featuring a closely-tolerant internal double-D disk connection that leaves no exposed areas for corrosion to occur. In addition to this, it sports a nylon 11 coated, cast iron disk for reduced friction, increased corrosion resistance, and compatibility with lower-torque actuators for larger valve body sizes.

One of the key design features is the peroxide cured EPDM resilient seat, which delivers bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off. It guarantees an equal percentage flow characteristic and operates effectively at temperatures ranging from -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 250 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 degrees Celsius to 121 degrees Celsius). Its rated close-off pressure peaks at 175 psi, further enhancing its performance reliability.
