Built from a polyester-coated cast iron body, the valve showcases exceptional tolerance for weather, chemical exposure, ultra-violet light, abrasion, and impacts. The valve's resilient seat is designed from peroxide cured EPDM for superior durability. With a stem made from 416 stainless steel, the valve promotes tight leakage control at the rated close-off.

The butterfly valve is available in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches and incorporates ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Its bidirectional flow enhances versatility, while the integrated extended neck accommodates up to 2 inches of pipe insulation. The valve features cast iron disks coated with Nylon 11, reducing friction and bolstering corrosion resistance. This durable coating also enables the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

Providing a secure connection, the valve's stainless steel stem offers a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection with no entrance points for corrosion. The valve maintains an equal percentage flow characteristic, essential for many industrial automation applications.

The butterfly valve's operational temperature ranges from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), making it suitable for handling both hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions.
