Crafted from a polyester-coated cast iron body, it effectively withstands weather, chemical, ultra-violet, abrasion, and impact damage. The valve's resilient seat, made of peroxide-cured EPDM, features a stainless-steel stem of 416 grade, demonstrating both durability and robustness.

The Butterfly Valve comes in varied sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, fitted with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It supports bi-directional flow, adding to its versatile application. Its design entails an extended neck that allows for 2 inches of pipe insulation. The cast iron disks are coated with Nylon 11, which not only enhances corrosion resistance but also reduces friction, enabling the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

The specialized stainless steel valve stem, with its double-D internal disk connection, assures a firm, secure link without any exposure points for corrosion. Furthermore, this valve guarantees bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off. Designed to service hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, this butterfly valve maintains an equal percentage flow characteristic. It operates efficiently within a temperature range of -40 degrees Fahrenheit to 250 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 degrees Celsius to 121 degrees Celsius), capable of sustaining close-off pressure up to 175 psi.
