The Honeywell 2-Way, 2-1/2 in. Butterfly Valve is an advanced industrial control product specifically engineered to offer high functional value and performance. It features a distinctly designed flange that provides 107 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and 182 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The robustly constructed body of this valve is made from cast iron, coated with polyester for maximum durability. The resilient seat of the valve is constructed from peroxide-cured EPDM with a stem made from 416 stainless steel for increased durability and longevity.

This valve is available in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, suitable for ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It presents bi-directional flow capability and accommodates an extended neck, enabling the inclusion of 2 inches of pipe insulation.

The industrial butterfly valve features Nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks for heightened corrosion resistance and reduced friction. This characteristic allows the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes for operational efficiency.

The cast-iron valve body is coated with polyester, offering reliable protection against weather, chemicals, ultra-violet radiation, abrasion, and impacts. Additionally, the stainless steel valve stem incorporates a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection void of corrosion access points. The structure ensures bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off.

Designed for optimum functionality, the valve can primarily be used for hot and chilled water-glycol solutions. It offers an equal percentage flow characteristic, capable of continuous operation in temperatures ranging between -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C) and withstands a pressure of up to 175 psi at close-off.
