Honeywell Butterfly Valve, 2 Way, 2-1/2 in., is a flanged, durable valve designed for rigorous industrial applications. It features a 107 CV at 60-degree stroke and 182 CV at 90-degree stroke, made from a polyester-coated cast iron body that is resistant to weather, chemical, ultra-violet exposure, abrasion, and impact damage. The valve consists of a resilient seat made from peroxide-cured EPDM and a strong stem made from 416 stainless steel.

The range of available valve sizes extends from 2 to 20 inches, equipped with an ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It ensures bi-directional flow and includes an extended neck to accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation. The cast iron disks are coated with Nylon 11, ensuring increased corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and making it suitable for use with lower-torque actuators alongside larger valve body sizes.

Notably unique is the valve’s stainless steel stem with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, leaving no points for potential corrosion access. The valve maintains bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off.

The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is ideal for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions since it is designed to handle an operating temperature range of -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). The flow characteristic of this valve follows an equal percentage curve, and it can function at a close-off pressure of up to 175 psi.
