The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a profusely functional two-way control system, featuring an 18-inch diameter. It incorporates a design that is flanged for durability and long-lasting usage. The valve has Cv values of 5736 at a 60-degree stroke and 17214 at a 90-degree stroke, which ensure efficient flow control. The robust and reliable polyester coated cast iron body is complemented by a resilient seat made of peroxide-cured EPDM, adding to its operational endurance.

This system adapts to diverse application conditions with ANSI Class 125/150 Lug Pipe connections, supporting sizes from 2 to 20 inches. Notably, it enables bi-directional flow for versatile usage. The valve also includes an extended neck for accommodating 2 inches of pipe insulation.

Enhancing its corrosion resistance and reduction of friction is the cast iron disk, coated with Nylon 11. This unique feature enables the usage of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. Further augmenting the product’s durability and versatility, the valve body is coated with polyester, providing substantial protection against weather conditions, chemicals, ultraviolet rays, abrasion, and impact.

The valve system also structures a stainless steel valve stem with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection. This design ensures no points for corrosion access, boosting the system's resistance to harsh environments. Additionally, the system delivers bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off, further solidifying its efficiency.

Designed for hot water and chilled water-glycol solution services, the Honeywell Butterfly Valve operates with an equal percentage flow characteristic. It withstands a broad operating temperature ranging from -40°F to 250°F (-40°C to 121°C). To cap it off, the device can efficiently handle a close-off pressure of up to 150 psi.
