The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way, 18-inch industrial mechanism that boasts a broad array of features and technical specifications. At a 60-degree stroke, the valve has a Cv of 5736, increasing to a Cv of 17214 at a 90-degree stroke. Its robust construction consists of a polyester-coated cast iron body and peroxide cured EPDM resilient seat. At its core, the valve has a durable, 416 stainless steel stem.

Available in sizes from 2 to 20 inches, the valve supports ANSI class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It offers bi-directional flow and features an extended neck that accommodates 2 inches of pipe insulation. To increase corrosion resistance, reduce friction, and facilitate the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes, the valve disks are coated with Nylon 11.

The cast iron valve body is coated with polyester for enhanced protection against weather, chemical, ultraviolet exposure, abrasion, and impact. This butterfly valve also has a close-tolerance, stainless steel valve stem coupled with an internal double-D disk connection. Notably, there are no points for corrosion access. The valve is assured to exhibit bubble-tight seat leakage at rated close-off.

In terms of technical specifications, the valve is optimally designed for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It showcases an equal percentage flow characteristic and operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). Lastly, it can sustain a close-off pressure of up to 150 psi.
