The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way, 18-inch controller designed for optimal performance. Its flanged feature combines with a resilient seat made from peroxide cured EPDM, and a 416 stainless steel stem. It has proved strong with 5736 Cv at a 60-degree stroke, and an impressive 17214 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. Sizes of this model range from 2 to 20 inches and come with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. This caters for a bi-directional flow and contains an extended neck designed for 2 inches of pipe insulation.

Notably, the disc is made from Nylon 11 coated, cast iron, offering superb corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and the use of lower-torque actuators, particularly with larger valve body sizes. Its cast-iron body is coated with polyester and is resistant to weather, chemical, ultra-violet, abrasion, and impact damage. The valve stem is made of stainless steel with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection that leaves no points for corrosion access. At rated close-off, it assures bubble tight seat leakage.

This product is ideally suited for the service of hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It possesses an equal percentage flow characteristic and can robustly operate in temperatures ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). It also upholds a decent 150 psi close-off pressure.
