The Honeywell Butterfly Valve, a two-way, 18-inch industrial device, features a flanged design that boasts a CV of 5736 at a 60-degree stroke and 17214 at a 90-degree stroke. The valve is constructed with a cast iron body coated with polyester for enhanced durability. It's designed with a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and outfitted with a 416 stainless steel stem.

The valve offers varying sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches while adhering to ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Engineered for bi-directional flow, it features an extended neck to allow for 2 inches of pipe insulation. The disk, made from cast iron and coated with Nylon 11, enhances corrosion resistance, reduces friction, and allows the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

Additionally, the valve body is polyester-coated cast iron for weather, chemical, ultraviolet, abrasion, and impact protection. Further, the close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection with a stainless steel valve stem eliminates potential points for corrosion access. The design of the valve guarantees bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off.
