The Butterfly Valve, a 2-Way, 18-in. system, possesses a flanged design with measures of 5736 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and 17214 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. Constructed of a sturdy, weather and abrasion-resistant polyester-coated cast iron body, it also features a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and a 416 stainless steel stem.

The Valve lineup is extensive, ranging from 2 to 20 in with ANSI Class 125/150 Lug Pipe Connections. It provides the convenience of bi-directional flow and accommodates 2 in of pipe-insulation via an extended neck.

For heightened corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and accommodating usage of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes, it features nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks. The valve body, composed of cast iron, is coated in polyester, which ensures protection from external weather conditions, chemical effects, ultraviolet radiation, abrasion, and impact.

The valve comes with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection stainless steel stem. This unique feature keeps the valve system free of corrosion access points. Achieving bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off is made possible with this design.

The system is designed to service hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It carries an equal percentage flow characteristic and can operate within various temperature ranges, from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). Its close-off pressure is recorded at 150 psi, making it a reliable choice for multiple industrial applications.
