The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way valve that measures 18 inches in size. It features a flanged form with operating Cv values of 5736 at a 60-degree stroke and 17214 at a 90-degree stroke. The robust body of the valve is constructed from polyester-coated cast iron, while the resilient seat is fashioned from peroxide-cured EPDM. The stem of the valve is created from 416 stainless steel.

Featuring sizes from 2 to 20 inches, it is integrated with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections, offering efficient bi-directional flow. The design of the valve includes an extended neck that can accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation. The disc of the valve, coated with Nylon 11, is cast from iron which helps in resisting corrosion, reducing friction, and enables the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

The valve body is made from cast iron and is served with a polyester coating that offers protection from weather elements, chemicals, ultraviolet rays, abrasion, and external impacts. The stem of the valve is crafted from stainless steel with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection that leaves no points for corrosion access. It ensures bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off.

Suitable for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, this valve offers an equal percentage flow characteristic. It can operate smoothly within a temperature range of -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C) and can withstand a close-off pressure of up to 150 psi.
