Honeywell Butterfly Valve, 2 Way, 16 in. - VFF2SW1YPS/M

The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way control valve featuring a 16-inch flange, a Cv of 4483 at a 60-degree stroke, and 13966 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The valve enjoys a robust construction, with a polyester-coated cast iron body for excellent resistance against weather conditions, chemicals, ultraviolet light, abrasion, and impact. Its resilient seat is forged from peroxide-cured EPDM, whilst its stem is formed from 416 stainless steel.

The valve is available in sizes ranging from 2-inch to 20-inch, with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections, capable of a bi-directional flow. It features an extended neck design, capable of accommodating 2 inches of pipe insulation, whilst its cast iron disks are coated with Nylon 11 for corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and compatibility with lower-torque actuators for larger valve body sizes.

The valve also exhibits a stainless steel stem, designed with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection to prevent corrosion access. Additionally, the valve ensures tight seat leakage when rated for close-off.

In terms of service, it is suited to hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, with an equal percentage flow characteristic. Capable of withstanding extreme temperatures, the valve operates efficiently between -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), and can resist a close-off pressure of up to 150 psi.
