The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-Way, 16-inch control system designed for effective regulation of fluid flow. This device boasts a flanged execution with a Cv of 4483 at a 60-degree stroke and 13966 at a 90-degree stroke. It is constructed with a polyester-coated cast iron body for superior sturdiness and protection against weather, chemical reactions, UV exposure, abrasion, and impacts. Its 416 stainless steel stem guarantees durability, possessing a close-tolerance internal double-d disk connection for added resistance against corrosion.

The Honeywell Butterfly Valve's resilient seat is composed of peroxide-cured EPDM that enables bubble-tight seat leakage when the valve is closed off. Its bidirectional flow capability provides flexibility in its application. Covering sizes from 2 to 20 inches, this valve connects perfectly with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe systems. Its extended neck allows the accommodation of up to 2 inches of pipe insulation for increased operational efficiency.

The valve discs are made from Nylon-11 coated cast iron. This provides excellent corrosion resistance, reduces friction during operation, and allows the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. Considered ideal for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, the valve operates under temperatures ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). Its even percentage flow characteristic alongside a close-off pressure of 150 psi enhances its versatility in industrial applications.
