The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a highly efficient, bi-directional valve designed for precise flow control in a wide range of applications. This two-way, 16-inch valve features a flanged design, delivering a Cv of 4483 at a 60-degree stroke and a Cv of 13966 at a 90-degree stroke. Constructed with quality materials, the valve boasts a polyester-coated cast iron body for robustness and longevity. It is fitted with a peroxide cured EPDM resilient seat, along with a 416 stainless steel stem for enhanced performance.

This model is available in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. For increased operational flexibility, it offers an extended neck for accommodation of up to 2 inches of pipe insulation.

Functionality is further increased with cast iron disks, protected with a Nylon 11 coating, offering exceptional corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and facilitating the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. The cast iron valve body has been treated with a polyester coating to ensure comprehensive protection against weather influences, chemical agents, ultra-violet radiation, abrasion, and impacts.

The valve's stem is made of stainless steel and features a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection with no points of entry for corrosion. This unique feature promotes bubble tight seat leakage at its rated close-off.

This Honeywell Butterfly Valve is suitable for services utilizing hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. Its flow characteristic is equivalent to a percentage operation. The operating temperature range is extensive, spanning from -40F to 250F (-40C to 121C) and with a close-off pressure of 150 psi, the functionality is undeniably superior.
