The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way, 16-inch industrial control module designed for high-performance fluid regulation. With an impressively high Cv rating, this valve allows for efficient flow operation with 4483 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and 13966 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. Its durability is assured through a polyester-coated cast iron body that is resistant to weather, chemical, ultra-violet, abrasion, and impact damage. Additionally, the superior resilience of the peroxide-cured EPDM seat ensures long-lasting functionality.
The valve accommodates sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches, offering versatility to match various application requirements. It also features Ansi Class 125/150 lug-type pipe connections to facilitate bi-directional flow and includes an extended neck capable of housing 2 inches of pipe insulation.
The module's disks are manufactured with Nylon 11 coated, cast iron for optimal corrosion resistance, friction reduction, and utilization of lower-torque actuators with larger valves. Moreover, it is built with a 416 stainless steel stem combined with a closely-tolerated internal double-D disk connection, eliminating potential points for corrosion access.
This Butterfly Valve delivers tight-seat leakage at a rated close-off, ensuring efficient sealing when required. Its operating temperature spans from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), and it can withstand a close-off pressure of 150 psi to operate safely even under high pressure. Suitable for service with hot water or chilled water-glycol solutions, this valve provides an equal percentage flow characteristic, adding to its application flexibility.
