The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is engineered for two-way functions with a diameter extending up to 16 inches. The flanged design boasts a Cv of 4483 at a 60-degree stroke and 13966 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. Crafted with a polyester-coated cast iron body, the valve offers durability while preventing weather, chemical, ultraviolet, abrasion, and impact damage. The valve features a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and a 416 stainless steel stem for enhanced longevity.
Conveniently adaptable, this product is available in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches and facilitates ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It offers bi-directional flow and comes with an extended neck to accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation. The valve disks, cast in iron and coated with Nylon 11, deliver excellent corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and compatibility with lower-torque actuators for larger valve body sizes.
Special attention is paid to the valve design to preempt corrosion vulnerabilities, with the stainless steel valve stem interfacing seamlessly in a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection. At its rated close-off, the valve ensures bubble-tight seat leakage. As for usage, it's optimally suited for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, with an equal percentage flow characteristic. Its operating temperature ranges from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), and it manages a close-off pressure effecting up to 150 psi. This Honeywell product skillfully marries function and resilience in industrial automation applications.
