The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way, 16-inch device with a flanged design. It offers a versatile control flow, delivering 4483 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and 13966 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The valve's body is made from polyester-coated cast iron, ensuring resistance against weather, chemicals, ultraviolet radiation, abrasion, and impact. The resilient seat is composed of peroxide-cured EPDM, adding to the valve's durability.

The valve accommodates sizes from 2 to 20 inches in accordance with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections and features bi-directional flow. Alluding to its well-designed structure, the product comes with an extended neck that allows for 2 inches of pipe insulation. Further, the cast iron disks are coated with Nylon 11, giving it superior corrosion resistance, reducing friction, and facilitating the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

The valve exhibits a stainless steel stem with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, which ensures there are no points for corrosion access. Its bubble tight seat leakage at rated close-off enhances fluid control. Moreover, it is suitable for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. The flow characteristic of this valve is an equal percentage, and it can function within a wide operating temperature range from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). Furthermore, the valve can effectively handle a close-off pressure of up to 150 psi.
