Introducing the Honeywell Butterfly Valve, a two-way, 16-inch valve with ANSI class 125/150 lug pipe connections ranging from 2 to 20 inches. This valve features a flanged design, capable of delivering a Cv of 4483 at a 60-degree stroke and 13966 at a 90-degree stroke. Crafted with a polyester-coated cast iron body, it ensures resistance against weather, chemical influences, ultra-violet rays, abrasion and impacts, promoting enhanced durability and performance lifespan.
The valve is fitted with a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat, maximizing sealing capabilities and preventing possible leakages. It also possesses a 416 stainless steel stem equipped with an internal double-D disk connection, which eliminates potential corrosion points. This robust valve offers bi-directional flow and an extended neck designed to accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation.
The disk, made of cast iron, is coated with nylon 11, a feature that enhances corrosion resistance, reduces friction, and permits the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. With these qualities, the butterfly valve ensures bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off.
It's designed for services involving hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, with an equal percentage flow characteristic. The operating temperature ranges from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), along with a close-off pressure of 150 psi, making this valve capable of handling demanding service conditions. Trust in Honeywell's dedication to visionary design and technical precision in delivering premium industrial automation and control systems.
