The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way, 16-inch valve, featuring a polyester-coated cast iron body for maximum durability. With an impressive Cv of 4483 at a 60-degree stroke and 13966 at a 90-degree stroke, this robust valve-based control system leverages a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and a 416 stainless steel stem.

The valve comes in a range of sizes, from 2 to 20 inches, and offers bi-directional flow. It accommodates ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections and features an extended neck to accommodate up to 2 inches of pipe insulation. The valve disks are made from corrosion-resistant, cast iron coated with Nylon 11, which also reduces friction and allows for the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

To guarantee longevity, the cast iron valve body has a protective polyester coating that offers comprehensive protection against weather conditions, chemicals, ultraviolet rays, abrasion, and impacts. The stainless steel valve stem features a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, preventing points of corrosion access. This design also ensures bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off.

This Honeywell Butterfly Valve is suited for various services, such as hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It provides an equal percentage flow characteristic and can operate in temperatures ranging from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). It is capable of managing a close-off pressure of up to 150 psi.
