The Butterfly Valve's stem is constructed from 416 stainless steel, offering high corrosion resistance, and is attached to the disc without points of corrosion access. The connection with the disc is meticulously designed to provide close-tolerance with the internal double-D disk.
A key aspect of the valve is its peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat, designed for bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off. This ensures optimal sealing even under high pressure, rated at up to 150 psi.
