The Honeywell Butterfly Valve, a two-way, 16-inch mechanism, possesses a robust and durable design suitable for industrial applications. It features a polyester-coated cast iron body to ensure resistance to weather, chemical influences, ultraviolet exposure, abrasion, and impact. The flanged valve is designed to deliver a Cv of 4483 at a 60-degree stroke and 13966 Cv at a 90-degree stroke.

The Butterfly Valve's stem is constructed from 416 stainless steel, offering high corrosion resistance, and is attached to the disc without points of corrosion access. The connection with the disc is meticulously designed to provide close-tolerance with the internal double-D disk.

A key aspect of the valve is its peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat, designed for bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off. This ensures optimal sealing even under high pressure, rated at up to 150 psi.

The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is versatile, supporting bi-directional flow and suitable for a range of sizes from 2 to 20 inches with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. An extended neck allows for 2 inches of pipe insulation. The disc is coated with Nylon 11, reducing friction and enhancing corrosion resistance, further enabling use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.

The valve is ideally applied for the control of hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions, offering an equal percentage flow characteristic. It operates efficiently within a broad temperature range, from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C).
