The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way, 14-inch spanning device with flanged, polyester-coated cast iron build, having a 3384 CV at 60-degree stroke and a 10538 CV at 90-degree stroke. Its robust construction features a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat and a 416 stainless steel stem.

The valve can accommodate sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections, along with extended neck to facilitate 2 inches of pipe insulation. The device is engineered for bidirectional flow with its disks cast in iron and coated with Nylon 11 for superior corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and the ability to work in tandem with lower-torque actuators in larger valve body sizes.

The cast iron valve body features a polyester coating that safeguards against weathering and chemical reactions, in addition to providing UV, abrasion, and impact protection. The precision-engineered stainless steel valve stem equipped with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection excludes all points for corrosion access.

To ensure reliable, tight-seat leakage, the valve operates at a rated close-off, allowing for bubble-tight control. In terms of service, the valve is optimized for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It follows an equal percentage flow characteristic, is able to operate smoothly within temperatures from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), and can withstand close-off pressure up to 150 psi.
