The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way controller with a 14-inch diameter. This professionally engineered valve features a flanged design, offering a 3384 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and a significantly higher 10538 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. Constructed with a resilient seat made from peroxide cured EPDM, the valve is housed in a polyester-coated, cast iron body, accompanied by a 416 stainless steel stem.

This Butterfly Valve comes with ANSI class 125/150 lug pipe connections and can cater to sizes that range from 2 to 20 inches. A highlight of this model is its provision of bi-directional flow, coupled with an extended neck for accommodating 2 inches of pipe insulation.

For enhanced durability and performance, the valve features nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks. These are designed to resist corrosion, reduce friction, and facilitate the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. To further protect against weather, chemical effects, ultraviolet rays, abrasion, and impact, the cast iron valve body is coated with polyester.

Another key characteristic of this Honeywell model is its stainless steel valve stem, equipped with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, meticulously designed to exclude points for corrosion access. The valve ensures bubble tight seat leakage at its rated close-off.

This controller is suitable for services involving hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It exhibits an equal percentage flow characteristic and an operating temperature range from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C), with a close-off pressure of 150 psi.
