The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a two-way device with a 14in diameter. The valve comes with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections, offering size differences ranging from 2in to 20in. It supports unrestricted bi-directional flow. The design includes a lengthened neck, which can comfortably accommodate up to 2in of pipe insulation. For enhancing corrosion resistance, reducing friction, and enabling use with lower-torque actuators in conjunction with larger valve body sizes, the disks are cast iron and coated with Nylon 11.
Its body, which is constructed from cast iron, is coated with polyester to provide added protection from weathering, chemical reactions, ultraviolet light, abrasion, and impact. The valve stem is made of a tipo 416 stainless steel and comes with an internal double-D disk connection with tightly controlled tolerances, ensuring that there are no points of access for corrosion.
Another key feature is the Honeywell Butterfly Valve's bubble-tight seat leakage at its rated close-off. This makes it ideal for use in systems using hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. The flow characteristic of the valve is essentially equal percentage. This valve operates within a temperature range of -40 F to 250 F (-40C to 121C) and can handle a close-off pressure of up to 150 psi.
In terms of performance, when used with a 60-degree stroke, it delivers 3384 Cv and 10538 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. The seat, durable and resilient, uses peroxide-cured EPDM. These comprehensive features make the Honeywell Butterfly Valve a reliable, efficient, and durable solution for a wide range of industrial applications.
