The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way 14" valve with a flanged design, offering a high flow coefficient of 3384 Cv at 60 degrees stroke and an even higher 10538 Cv at 90 degrees stroke. Made with a polyester-coated cast iron body, it promotes durability and environmental resistance. The valve features a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat along with a 416-grade stainless steel stem, guaranteeing high resilience to wearing and corrosive conditions.
This valve is offered in sizes ranging from 2" to 20" and can accommodate ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. It supports bi-directional flow and includes an extended neck for accommodating 2" of pipe insulation. Its iron disks are coated with Nylon 11 to enhance corrosion resistance, reduce friction, and facilitate the use of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes.
The valve body is also polyester-coated, providing comprehensive protection against weather effects, chemicals, UV rays, abrasion, and impacts. The intelligently designed stainless steel valve stem comes with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection, giving it an edge over competitors by eliminating corrosion access points.
