The Honeywell 2-Way, 12-inch Butterfly Valve boasts key features that ensure optimal operation, durability, and longevity. The valve is flanged, offering 2563 Cv at a 60-degree stroke and 8077 Cv at a 90-degree stroke. For superior robustness and resistance to chemical impact and environmental factors like weather and ultraviolet light, the body of the valve is made from polyester-coated cast iron. To ensure flexibility and longevity, the valve utilizes a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat.

Stemming from a technical perspective, the product offers a bi-directional flow, backed by an extended neck that caters for 2 inches of pipe insulation. Contributing to the valve's excellent anti-corrosion properties, the disks are Nylon 11 coated and made of cast iron. This reduces friction, offering increased potential for lower-torque actuators in larger valve body sizes.

As for the valve stem, it is crafted from 416 stainless steel and features a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection sans any points that may provide access for corrosion. The valve offers bubble-tight seat leakage at a designated close-off.

Given its exceptional design, the butterfly valve is suitable for hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It possesses an equal percentage flow characteristic and provides an impressive operating temperature bracket of -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). In terms of the close-off pressure, the valve can comfortably handle up to 175 psi.
