The Honeywell Butterfly Valve, 2 Way, 12 in., is a flagship industrial automation product, uniquely designed with a flanged, polyester-coated cast iron body and a 2563 CV at a 60-degree stroke. It achieves an 8077CV at a 90-degree stroke. The butterfly valve’s seat is a peroxide cured EPDM resilient seat with a 416 stainless steel stem for enhanced durability and efficiency.

Its sizes range from 2 to 20 inches and are complemented with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. The valve notably boasts a bi-directional flow with an extended neck to accommodate 2 inches of pipe insulation. The valve disks are nylon 11 coated, cast in iron for corrosion resistance, reduced friction, and usage with lower-torque actuators with larger valves' body sizes.

The valve body is cast iron with a polyester coating that withstands various forms of damage including weather, chemical, Ultra-Violet, abrasion, and impact. The valve stem is stainless steel, designed with a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection that leaves no points for corrosion access.

Additional features include a bubble-tight seat leakage at rated close off, making it incredibly efficient in service with hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. Its equal percentage flow characteristic operates at temperatures from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C) and can handle close-off pressure up to 175 PSI.
