The Honeywell Butterfly Valve is a 2-way, 12-inch device featuring a flange design, a polyester-coated cast iron body, and a peroxide-cured EPDM resilient seat, with a 416 stainless steel stem. This device provides highly efficient flow control, with a Cv (flow coefficient) of 2563 at a 60-degree stroke and 8077 at a 90-degree stroke.

For added versatility, it comes in sizes ranging from 2 to 20 inches with ANSI Class 125/150 lug pipe connections. Its bi-directional flow capacity, combined with an extended neck for 2 inches of pipe insulation, augments its performance ability.

The valve features Nylon 11 coated, cast iron disks that not only resist corrosion but also decrease friction, enabling usage of lower-torque actuators with larger valve body sizes. Further enhancing its durability is its cast iron valve body, which is polyester-coated for superior protection against weather, chemicals, ultraviolet radiation, abrasion, and impact.

The stainless steel valve stem has a close-tolerance internal double-D disk connection with no entry points for corrosion. This design also enables bubble-tight seat leakage at the rated close-off, further improving the efficiency of the system.

This valve is suitable for both hot water and chilled water-glycol solutions. It has an equal percentage flow characteristic and operating temperature ranges from -40 F to 250 F (-40 C to 121 C). Moreover, it can handle a close-off pressure of up to 175 psi, making it a robust and reliable choice for your industrial control needs.
